New Delhi: In a profound revelation, veteran Bharatiya Janata Party leader L.K. Advani has declared that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the chosen one by Lord Ram to build the long-awaited Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Speaking to Hindi magazine Rashtra Dharma, Advani reflected on the pivotal “Ram Rath Yatra” of 1990, describing it as a transformative event that shaped his political journey.

Advani, often hailed as the charioteer of the Rath Yatra, expressed that the faith in Lord Ram, with which the journey began, unexpectedly evolved into a nationwide movement. Recalling the historic event, he highlighted the divine connection, stating, “Lord Ram himself had chosen Mr. Modi, his devoted disciple, to build his Temple in Ayodhya.”

During the yatra, Prime Minister Modi served as Advani’s assistant, a role that was integral to the political landscape yet didn’t make Modi a household name at the time. Advani, now 96 years old, emphasized that destiny had signaled the eventual construction of a grand temple in Ayodhya during the Rath Yatra, and he believes “now it’s only a matter of time.”

In the article titled “Ram Mandir Nirman, Ek Divya Swapna Ki Purti” (The Construction of Ram Temple: Fulfillment of a Divine Dream), Advani paid tribute to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, expressing that Vajpayee’s absence is felt deeply at this momentous juncture.

Advani also shared his vision for the upcoming consecration ceremony, where PM Modi is expected to consecrate the Ram Lalla idol. He believes that when this happens, the Prime Minister will represent every citizen of India, expressing a hope that the Ram Temple inspires all Indians to embody the qualities of Lord Ram.

The article is set to be published in the January 16 edition of Rashtra Dharma, with copies to be distributed to attendees of the consecration ceremony in Ayodhya. While there is speculation about Advani’s attendance, no official confirmation has been provided by his close associates at this point.

New Delhi: In a monumental leap for India’s infrastructure, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Sewri-Nhava Sheva Atal Setu today. The Mumbai Trans Harbour Link, dubbed the Atal Setu, stands as the nation’s longest sea bridge, connecting Sewri in Mumbai to the Nhava Sheva area in Raigad district at a cost of ₹17,840 crore.

This historic project, initiated with the laying of its foundation stone by PM Modi in December 2016, pays tribute to the late former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The Atal Setu spans an impressive 21.8 kilometers, promising to revolutionize travel between the two locations by reducing the journey time from two hours to a mere 15-20 minutes.

Metropolitan Commissioner of MMRDA, Dr. Sanjay Mukherjee, highlighted the technological marvel of the Atal Setu, stating, “This is India’s longest bridge built on the sea, employing cutting-edge technologies never before seen in the country. Notably, the lights used in this bridge are designed to preserve the aquatic environment.”

What’s Allowed:

Four-wheelers, including cars, taxis, light motor vehicles, minibuses, and two-axle buses, will have a maximum speed limit of 100 kmph.

Speed restrictions of 40 kmph will be implemented during the ascent and descent of the bridge.

What’s Not Allowed:

Motorbikes, auto rickshaws, and tractors are restricted from accessing the sea bridge.

Vehicles such as motorcycles, mopeds, three-wheelers, animal-drawn vehicles, and slow-moving vehicles are prohibited.

Multi-axle heavy vehicles, trucks, and buses heading towards Mumbai will not have entry access on the Eastern Freeway.

As the Atal Setu opens its lanes, it symbolizes not just a bridge over the Arabian Sea but also a bridge into a more connected and efficient future for Mumbai and Raigad district. This architectural marvel marks a significant milestone in India’s relentless pursuit of infrastructural excellence.
