Ayodhya’s Big Day: Central Govt Offices to Close Early for Ram Temple Event

New Delhi: In light of the upcoming consecration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, all central government offices in India will observe a half-day holiday on January 22, as announced by Union minister Jitendra Singh. The decision aims to honor the sentiments surrounding the occasion.

The Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha, scheduled for January 22, 2024, will be a nationwide celebration. To allow employees to participate in these festivities, a directive has been issued stating that all central government offices, institutions, and industrial establishments throughout India will be closed for half a day until 1430 hours on January 22, 2024.

This half-day holiday is a gesture to acknowledge the significance of the Ram Temple consecration and to enable the participation of central government employees in the celebratory events. The decision aligns with the government’s commitment to recognizing and respecting cultural and religious occasions that hold importance for citizens across the country.

New Delhi: Lord Rama’s consecration program will be organized in Ayodhya on 22 January. For this, major preparations are going on across the country. In Solapur district of Maharashtra also a unique initiative ‘Weaving threads for Lord Shri Ram’ from 8 am to 8 pm daily for Ram devotees from 5 January to 12 January 2024 from the concept of Shri Panchmukhi Hanuman Devasthanam and Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari Solapur Its going on.

The head of this program Shri. Ambadas Nakka ji said that under this initiative, every Ram devotee is getting the service and opportunity to weave two threads on a handloom. As soon as the woven cloth will be offered at the feet of Lord Shri Ram, many Ram devotees in Solapur are seen weaving this cloth with enthusiasm and devotion. To weave this garment, Solapurkar is seen gathering a huge crowd at Shri Panchmukhi Hanuman Devasthanam from 8 am in the morning.

Shri. Satyanarayan Gurram ji said that the Mangal Akshat Kalash from Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Ramchandra, has been made available for the darshan of the devotees for the last fifteen days. A grand procession of Mangal Akshat Kalash was taken out in the temple premises. Just as we invite guests from door to door on auspicious occasions in our house, similarly Suvasini and Ram devotees wish them a joyous festival of Deepotsav on that day by applying Haldi Kunku along with Mangala Akshat, Lord Shri Ram Murti Pranapratishthapana Invitation Card with temple replica. Are invited to celebrate.

Pro. Ganesh Channa ji said that many Ram devotees of Solapur are seen weaving this cloth with enthusiasm and devotion and are saying that they too are getting the opportunity to serve and worship Lord Shri Ram.

Shri. Pandit Birajdar ji told that today at 6 pm on Sunday, Ram devotees have organized a program of worship of clothes woven on handloom at Panchmukhi Hanuman Devasthan.

On this occasion, correspondent of The Parliament News Shrikant Gote, Shri. Vikramsingh Byas and Vinil Kongari and all the Ram devotees were present.

Stringent security measures have been implemented, ensuring a memorable and secure reception for the Prime Minister’s visit.

The day’s agenda includes a road show, from the airport to the railway station, where the Prime Minister will be warmly welcomed by saints and the general public. The inauguration of the Ayodhya Airport, developed at a cost exceeding 1450 crore rupees, is a significant milestone in the visit. The Terminal Building’s design reflects the architectural essence of the upcoming Shri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.

In an effort to enhance accessibility to the forthcoming Shri Ram Mandir, Prime Minister Modi will also unveil the redevelopment of four crucial roads in Ayodhya—Rampath, Bhaktipath, Dharampath, and Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Path. Additionally, the foundation stone for a greenfield township in Ayodhya, with a budget surpassing 2180 crore rupees, will be laid by the Prime Minister, further underlining the commitment to comprehensive urban development in the region.

The sanctum sanctorum, dedicated to Lord Shri Ramlala, is almost ready, showcasing significant strides in the construction process.
The Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirath Kshetra Trust has scheduled the enthronement of Ram Lalla at the temple’s sanctum-sanctorum between noon and 12:45 pm on January 22. For this significant ceremony, the trust has extended invitations to 4,000 saints from various sects, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to attend the grand inauguration.
Earlier statements by Champat Rai indicated that the idol, portraying the child form of Lord Ram, is already 90% complete. The 4 feet 3-inch idol is being meticulously crafted at three different locations in Ayodhya by three artisans. Rai noted that the finishing touches would be completed within the next week.
