As the inaugural ceremony of the Ayodhya Ram Temple approaches, officials from the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust provided a comprehensive update on the progress made at the sanctum sanctorum, where the idol of Ram Lalla is set to be placed early next year. Trust General Secretary Champat Rai shared the recent developments, highlighting the completion of lighting-fitting work in a post on X. The sanctum sanctorum, dedicated to Lord Shri Ramlala, is almost ready, showcasing significant strides in the construction process.
The Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirath Kshetra Trust has scheduled the enthronement of Ram Lalla at the temple’s sanctum-sanctorum between noon and 12:45 pm on January 22. For this significant ceremony, the trust has extended invitations to 4,000 saints from various sects, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to attend the grand inauguration.
Earlier statements by Champat Rai indicated that the idol, portraying the child form of Lord Ram, is already 90% complete. The 4 feet 3-inch idol is being meticulously crafted at three different locations in Ayodhya by three artisans. Rai noted that the finishing touches would be completed within the next week.
This week, visuals shared on the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Twitter handle offer a glimpse of the ongoing work on the temple exteriors, adding to the anticipation surrounding the imminent completion and inauguration of this historic and sacred monument.
